Join Feeding South Dakota and the National Association of Letter Carriers for the largest national one-day food drive! Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries. Residents in participating communities are asked to leave a non-perishable food donation by their mail box before 8am to be collected by the letter carriers their volunteers.
Feeding South Dakota is looking for volunteers to help the letter carriers receive food donations at the Rapid City Post Office. The food will be off-loaded from the letter carrier trucks into large cardboard totes.
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe / closed heal shoes.
