This Fourth of July Feeding South Dakota is working to ensure that every South Dakota family has a chance to gather at that table with family and food while celebrating our country!
Join us on July 2nd at our Distribution Center to pack boxes of food for our Mobile Food Distributions across South Dakota. Your time and effort will help fellow South Dakotans celebrate Independence Day with a meal and family.
What to Wear:
Dress in red, white, and blue, or just comfortable layers :) Comfortable clothing and fully enclosed shoes are required(no Crocs or sandals, please).
When You Arrive:
Please arrive at the center at least 5 minutes early for a quick orientation. There will be a team member available for support and questions throughout your shift.
Who Can Volunteer:
We welcome volunteers of all abilities! Requirements:
- Be able to stand/walk for 1-2 hours
- Lift at least 5lbs
- Be at least 11 years old (volunteers under 14 must be with an adult)
