Sioux Falls: Light Office Work: Calling Senior Box Recipients (2026)

Description

Feeding South Dakota is honored to partner with the South Dakota Department of Education to deliver the USDA's Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), commonly known as the Senior Box Program, to all 66 counties in the state.

This program helps participants allocate their financial resources to urgent needs like medicine and utilities while ensuring access to nutritious food.

We Need Help:
We need help making phone calls to CSFP recipients to confirm whether they still need a monthly box of food. This will help us determine how many boxes we need from the USDA in the upcoming months.

What You’ll Do:

·        Make calls to CSFP recipients with a script we provide.

·        Share the distribution details and give out our support number if they have additional questions.

What You Need:

·        Ability to work independently.

·        A friendly phone presence.

Support:

·        Training and instructions provided by our Community Partnership staff.

·        Staff available for questions, if necessary.

The sooner we can make these calls, the more seniors we can reach!
