Want a behind-the-scenes look at Feeding South Dakota’s distribution center? We need your help to ensure our facility is spotless for our Spring audit.
At Feeding South Dakota, we take pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace. As we prepare for an upcoming audit, we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with:
· Wiping down racks and surfaces
· Dusting and sweeping
· Mopping and general tidying
· Moving pallets with a hand pallet jack
Volunteers can work independently, in small groups, or alongside one of our fun Operations Associates!
Qualifications:
· Ability to stand and walk for 2-3 hours
· Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
· A signed waiver before volunteering
Age Requirements:
Due to warehouse operations and forklift traffic, volunteers
must be 11 years or older.
Volunteers under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to Expect:
· Arrive at least 5 minutes early for check-in and instructions
· Wear comfortable layered clothing and fully enclosed shoes
· Expect to get a little dirty – this is a hands on opportunity!
· Training and staff support will be provided throughout your shift
