Each year, volunteers across the country come together on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to serve their neighbors and communities in honor of Dr. King. As part of this national movement, Feeding South Dakota is hosting “Bring A Child to Serve Day” on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This day of service will help Feeding South Dakota to provide food to the 1 in 6 children who don’t know where their next meal will come from.
We're excited to offer parents/caregivers and their children an opportunity to volunteer together as a community and generate awareness of the issue of hunger.
What: Children ages 5 and up and their parent/caregiver will work together sorting and packing food in support of our community.
When: Monday, January 20, 2025 | 9am-11am, 1pm-3pm, or 5pm-7pm
