For decades, volunteers have helped deliver hope across South Dakota. This September, we’re celebrating the people who make our mission possible — and we want you to be part of it.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22ND

PICK YOUR DECADE. PICK YOUR SHIFT. DELIVER HOPE.

Morning Through Evening — A Musical Journey Through the Decades

Join us for any shift — or all of them! Each two-hour shift features a different decade of music to keep the energy going all day long. (If the shift is full, please join the waitlist!)

 

7:00 – 9:00 AM  •  The 70’s
 

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM  •  The 80’s
 

1:00 – 3:00 PM  •  The 80’s
 

4:00 – 6:00 PM  •  The 90’s
 

7:00 – 9:00 PM  •  The 00’s

Event Highlights

  Limited-edition Volunteer-A-Thon t-shirt available for purchase — wear your shirt and celebrate with fellow volunteers

  Complimentary snacks and beverages provided during your shift

  Optional behind-the-scenes tours of Feeding South Dakota

  Individuals, families, friends, and groups are all welcome

What You Need to Know

Your Shift

Tasks may vary but they’re all about putting food on the table! Shifts last 2 hours and include time for complimentary snacks, tours, and mingling. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to check in.

What to Wear

Dress in comfortable layers. Fully enclosed, closed-heel shoes are required. No Crocs or sandals permitted. If you purchased a Delivering Through the Decades t-shirt, we encourage you to wear it while volunteering.

Age Requirements

All volunteers must be 11 years or older. Volunteers under 14 need a parent or guardian to participate.
