Want to see behind the scenes of Feeding South Dakota’s distribution centers? We need your help to prepare for an upcoming audit!
Feeding South Dakota has long been known as a great place to work and volunteer. We pride ourselves in clean and organized workspaces! We are looking for volunteers to help us with wiping down racks, dusting, sweeping, moving pallets with a hand pallet jack, and mopping. Volunteers will work individually or in a small group.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand and walk for 2-3 hours at a time.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A waiver must be submitted prior to volunteering.
Age Requirements:
This position will be working in a warehousing facility alongside forklift traffic. For safety reasons, all volunteers must be 16 years or older.
Reminders:
Please arrive 5 minutes early and wear comfortable clothing in layers and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes. Volunteers will be given instructions and training upon arrival and will have staff support throughout their shift.
