Join our Front Desk Support team and help us fight food insecurity right from the heart of our distribution center!
Key Responsibilities:
Make a great impression on our guests and volunteers! The front desk volunteer will be responsible for greeting guests and volunteers, answering general questions, and transferring calls to appropriate employees.

- Be the First Impression: Greet guests and volunteers, answer questions, and direct calls with a friendly touch.
- Get the Inside Scoop: Receive training on our phone system and essential processes. First-time volunteers can even get a sneak peek of the center before starting their shift.
- Enjoy Full Support: Our team will guide you throughout your shift. Just arrive 10 minutes early, dress in comfy layers, and wear fully-enclosed shoes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills: Ability to sit for at least half the shift (with some standing), handle a multi-line phone system, and interact respectfully with everyone.
- Willingness: Sign a confidentiality agreement and be ready to learn about Feeding South Dakota.
Age Requirements:
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
