Join us in our Sort Room and Warehouse where you'll play a crucial role in picking and packing food for pantries across Sioux Falls. Each week, our School Pantries and Sanford Children's Wellness Pantries rely on your help to restock their shelves and support local children and families in need.
Why Volunteer With Us?

- You'll be sorting, boxing, and recording food items, all while adhering to our guidelines.
What You'll Do:
- Work around forklifts and, if comfortable, use a pallet jack.
- Stand, bend, and lift for up to 4 hours, with occasional lifts of up to 30lbs
- Follow instructions and contribute effectively on your own.
What to Expect:
- Support and Training: Arrive 10 minutes early, dress in layers for comfort, and wear closed-toe/heel shoes. We'll provide all necessary instructions and training on site.
- Age Requirement: This role involves working independently in a warehouse setting with forklift traffic and is open to those 18 and older.
